劉小康 FREEMAN LAU
[CHAIRPLAY] PATTERN DESIGNER

-
Inspired by the internationally acclaimed and award-winning design “Chairplay” by Freeman Lau, this pattern plays with geometry to create a unique and impactful visual effect, where a chair is hidden behind sets of neatly-arranged lines. This design also has another poignant meaning to the brand, as German Pool’s first factory used to produce steel chairs!
*Proceeds of sales of merchandise (after cost) in this design will go to support NEXT IN CHEONGSAM – YOUNG DESIGNER CHALLENGE SCHOLARSHIP FUND, aimed to promote the Intangible Cultural Heritage of cheongsam and entice young fashion designers to incorporate East-meets-West design and Chinese chic elements into the art of making cheongsams.
